On a small space station circling Ganymede a handful of people attempt to repopulate the ranks of humanity decimated decades before by a psychic virus which transforms men and women into the monsters that lurk in the darkest corners of our own nature.
Delve eBook Matt Wallace
After reading what I believe is one of the best short stories out there, Sundae, I took a poke at another one of Matt Wallace's short pieces. I was not disappointed. Science fiction meets pulp-noir in this riveting tale of the last remnants of the human race, vying to understand what part they play in repopulating the universe. The prose is a unique blend of short bursts and long lullaby's that will keep you turning the page. The dialogue is hard-boiled, like a smooth sip of bourbon in outer space. If the short stories by this author keep delivering they way they have so far, I'll be forced to move on to the Failed Cities novel he wrote. Thanks again Mr. Wallace. Read Delve folks, and you'll be "in Breslin by morning".Product details

Delve eBook Matt Wallace Reviews
I loved the language used to paint the picture of life on this satellite were humans infected with a terrible disease try to save the human race. Some of the lines in this story are going to stay with me a long, long time.
Great short story - a fast read that will not disappoint. Really good fiction.
Up until recently, I never thought that I liked short stories... turns out I just hadn't been reading the right authors.
